1957 Fender Stratocaster – Sunburst
We proudly present an exceptional and all original 1957 Fender Stratocaster in its original Sunburst. Made in Fullerton, California.
This mid-1957 Stratocaster is in excellent condition with no breaks, cracks, or repairs. It features a lightweight alder body, weighing just 3.36 kg, offering remarkable resonance, responsiveness, and sustain.
There is light playwear on the neck and some belt-buckle wear on the back, giving this Strat a classic, road-worn mojo. The beautifully flamed, V-profile neck remains original, as do the frets and nut — all with plenty of life left. The headstock has a small cigarette burn on the corner, but is otherwise clean and features attractive flame figuring.
Equipped with three original Black Bottom single-coil pickups, this guitar delivers a balanced tone with strong, articulate output. The six original Kluson single-line tuners turn smoothly, and the original single-ply pickguard is fully intact with no cracks. The Fender Stratocaster bridge features six “Pat. No.” stamped steel saddles, all in perfect working order.
It’s 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1957. This rare and highly collectible pre-CBS Stratocaster comes complete with its original tremolo arm and bridge cover.
All electronics and wiring are untouched — no re-wound pickups, no broken solder joints — 100% original and correct.
Includes the original tweed hardshell case with red plush lining. All latches and the handle are fully functional.
