1963 Fender Custom Telecaster – Sunburst

We present an original and rare 1963 pre-CBS Fender Custom Telecaster in a Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.

This guitar is stunning with its cream binding. It features a very nice medium C-shaped maple neck paired with a beautifully dark rosewood fingerboard. The lightweight alder body makes it exceptionally comfortable to play. With its original early-’60s-style wiring and cloth-covered wires, it delivers an authentic Telecaster tone. The pickups are remarkably strong and well-balanced, giving the guitar an incredible sound.

This pre-CBS Telecaster is entirely original, except for a professional refret that includes a new nut. Overall, it’s in excellent condition, showing some nicks and dings, light belt buckle wear, attractive finish checking, and other minor cosmetic signs of age. Structurally, it’s solid with no cracks, breaks, or repairs.

The pickups and electronics remain completely untouched—no broken solder joints and no rewound pickups. All original and correct.

Comes with its original Fender brown hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
