1963 Fender Custom Telecaster – Sunburst
We present an original and a rare 1963 pre-CBS Fender Custom Telecaster in Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This guitar looks so gorgeous with the cream bindings. It has a very nice medium C-shape maple neck with a fantastic dark rosewood fingerboard. The weight is extremely light on this beautiful alder body. It provides an authentic early 60’s Telecaster tone with its original old style wiring along with original cloth wires. The Telecaster sounds so incredibly good and the pickups are very strong and balanced.
This pre-CBS Telecaster is all original except for a professional refret that also include a new nut. Overall, it’s in great shape with some nicks and dings, light belt buckle wear, beautiful finish checking and other cosmetic wear. Everything remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks or any repairs.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original Fender brown hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
