1963 Fender Duo Sonic – Sunburst
We present an all original 1963 Duo Sonic in Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This pre-CBS is a beautiful example of an early Fender Duo Sonic. The model was introduced in ’56 but was redesigned for Fender’s student line which included the Musicmaster and Mustang. This particular example features a shorter 22 1/2 – inch scale length.
This Fender Duo Sonic is in stunning condition with very few minor nicks, dings and other cosmetic wear. The guitar itself remains structurally sound with no breaks or any repairs. It even comes complete with the bridge cover and the super rare original strap.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original Fender hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
