1963 Fender Duo-Sonic – Sunburst
We present an all original 1963 Duo-Sonic in Sunburst finish, made in Fullerton, California.
This pre-CBS example is a beautiful representation of an early Fender Duo-Sonic. Originally introduced in 1956, the model was later redesigned for Fender’s student line, which included the Musicmaster and Mustang. This particular guitar features the shorter 22 1/2-inch scale length.
The instrument is in stunning condition, showing only a few minor nicks, dings, and light cosmetic wear. Structurally, it is completely sound with no breaks or repairs. It even includes the original bridge cover and the exceptionally rare original strap.
It’s 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1963.
The pickups and electronics remain untouched and fully intact, with no broken solder joints or rewound pickups. All components are original and correct.
Includes the original Fender hardshell case. Latches and handle are fully functional.
