1963 Fender Precision Bass – Sunburst
We present an all original 1963 Fender Precision bass in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
The playability is so excellent on this 1963 Fender pre-CBS Fender Precision bass. A rare light-weight example and it’s extremely resonant. A lot of good honest mojo wear from years of playing and recording but at the same time kept 100% original with no modifications at all.
The original frets are flawless and have plenty of life left including the original nut. It features beautiful dark veneer rosewood fingerboard with clay dots with a very nice medium D-shape neck. The maple neck has some play-wear spots and the headstock and the Fender decal are clean as it can be.
Overall, it’s in great original shape with nicks, dings and other cosmetic wear. One small tip of the pickguard cracked off, but the pickguard tip is still there. This 1963 Fender Precision lives up to its “holy grail” bass status, with solid intonation and a feel that that you want on a bass.
Pickup and the electronics/wiring remains untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickup. All original and 100 % correct!
Comes with its original Fender Brown hardshell case (one broken latch) The hardshell case is still in working order.
