1963 Fender Stratocaster – Black
We present an exceptional and all original 1963 Fender Stratocaster in a factory Black finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
Overall, this very rare Custom Color pre-CBS Stratocaster is in excellent condition. It will complement any high-end collection, though it absolutely deserves to be played. This early 1963 Stratocaster is a true product of the golden era from Fullerton, California. It shows minor play wear and beautiful finish checking on the body. A truly wonderful Stratocaster with remarkable resonance and tone. The original frets and nut still have life left, and the rosewood fingerboard with clay dots is flawless. The neck and headstock, including the “spaghetti logo” decal, are as clean as can be.
The original single-line Kluson tuners are in excellent shape and work perfectly. The black-bottom pickups are healthy and strong, yet well-balanced and sound fantastic. The guitar is 100% original throughout and even comes complete with its original tremolo arm and original Fender strap.
Pickups and wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no rewound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with the original brown Fender hardshell case.
