1963 Gibson Les Paul SG Junior – Cherry

We present a stunning and all original 1963 Gibson Les Paul SG Junior in its original Cherry finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Condition

This historical Gibson Les Paul SG Junior is in absolutely Excellent + condition. It is so crazy clean! Minor nicks and dings. The original Cherry finish is strong and lovely transparent so you can see the lovely mahogany grain underneath. The original frets and nut are in perfect shape with a lot of life left. It features a 1-piece mahogany body and a clean and straight 1-piece mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard and dot inlays. The headstock is as clean as it can be and the original “Les Paul Junior Model” text is fully visible and intact, same goes for the original gold silk-screened “Gibson” logo. The original black plastic pickguard has a few cracks and a little tip in the top right corner has chipped off – but otherwise in fully working condition. Features the 6x original Kluson Deluxe strip tuners with the original white plastic oval buttons.

Originality 

This incredible 1963 Les Paul SG Junior is 100% all original just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1963. No modifications, breaks or any repairs. The original dog-ear P-90 pickup sounds perfect. It features the two original black plastic bell-shaped knobs (1x volume, 1x tone) with white markings and the original compensated Wrap-Around tailpiece.

Pickup and the electronics/wiring remains untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.

It comes with a newer Gator hardshell case, that protects the guitar fantastic.
