1964 Fender Precision Bass – Sunburst
We present an all original 1964 Fender Precision Bass in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
The playability of this 1964 Fender pre-CBS Precision Bass is excellent. A great lightweight example, and extremely resonant. It has a lot of honest, mojo-filled wear on the body from years of playing. The original frets are flawless and have plenty of life left. It features a beautiful dark veneer rosewood fingerboard with clay dots. A very comfortable neck. The original black-bottom pickup is perfect, with great output.
There is a music store sticker on the back of the headstock. We’ve left it as is, as it tells the story of where it was originally purchased. Overall, it’s in great original condition with nicks, dings, and other cosmetic play wear. No breaks or repairs. it’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1964. Even comes complete with the original bridge and pickup covers.
The pickup and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickup. All original and 100% correct.
Comes with a newer soft hardshell case.
