1964 Fender Princeton Amp 6G2 – Blackface (Tuxedo)

We present an original 1964 Fender Princeton Amp 6G2 blackface. Made in Fullerton, California.

This 1964 Fender Princeton amplifier is a transition model also called; Tuxedo with white knobs on a blackface and still with the brownface 6G2 circuit. It features dual 6V6s provide 12 watts to the Oxford speaker. The Fender Princeton has a pure sweet tone of course and a very versatile amp despite not having on-board reverb but have a fantastic sounding Tremolo circuit.

Overall, this 1964 Fender Princeton is in very good condition for its age. Comes with its original black tolex, faceplate and grill cloth. It’s  full serviced with new capacitors, resistors, 3-prong power cable and the original Oxford speaker is reconed so it can run perfectly. Both tranformers are original as well and factory stock. Even comes complete with its original footswitch.
