1964 Gibson ES-330 TD – Sunburst
We present an all original 1964 Gibson ES-330 TD in its original sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This ES-330 TD is incredibly acoustically resonant — the richness of its unplugged tone translates beautifully through the pickups, delivering a dynamic and nuanced sound with the warmth and midrange depth that only comes from the combination of a fully hollow body and a quality set of P-90 pickups.
The mahogany neck features a C-shaped profile that gradually gains depth as you move into the higher frets and has a full 1 11/16″ nut width. The rosewood fretboard with block inlays is stunning. The original Kluson Deluxe single-line tuners are fully intact and turn smoothly with their original white buttons. The serial number is cleanly stamped on the back of the headstock, and the “Gibson” logo is inlaid in pearl on the headstock face.
The bridge is the original nickel ABR-1 Tune-o-Matic. The original nickel trapeze tailpiece is present, along with the stock pickguard, switch tip, pickup covers, and gold reflector cap knobs.
This guitar comes with the earliest, rarest, and most valuable original case offered with the ES-330 — a Lifton-made case featuring a black exterior and plush yellow interior. The original latches and handle are also intact.
It’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1964.
Pickups and electronics remain untouched and original, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickups. 100% original and correct.
