Description & Specifications

1965 Fender Jaguar – Candy Apple Red

We present an all original 1965 Fender Jaguar in its original Candy Apple Red finish with matching headstock. Made in Fullerton, California.

Condition

Overall, this lovely L-series ’65 Jaguar is in great condition with light cosmetic wear to the body and headstock, including minor nicks and dings. No breaks or repairs.

The original Candy Apple Red finish looks beautifully vibrant and strong and still retains its silver undercoat on the headstock. It features an alder body and a maple neck with some flame and a beautiful dark veneer rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. A beautiful and very unique maple neck that feels fantastic. The original frets and nut have plenty of life left. All six original double-line Kluson tuners are intact and turn smoothly. The two original single-coil pickups are well balanced and sound great.

Originality

This custom color ’65 Fender Jaguar is 100% original throughout – just as it left the Fullerton factory back in 1965. It even comes with its original tremolo arm.

Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no rewound pickups. All original and correct.

Comes with its original non-logo black Fender hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
