Description & Specifications

1965 Fender Jaguar – Fiesta Red

We present an original 1965 Fender Jaguar in a stunning Fiesta Red finish with a matching headstock. Made in Fullerton, California.

This Custom Color Jaguar is in exceptionally well-preserved, near mint condition, featuring pearloid dot inlays on a dark rosewood fingerboard with a bound neck. It even comes complete with its original tremolo arm and bridge cover.

This guitar has been stored for over 30 years and has seen very little playtime. As a result, the original volume pot unfortunately failed due to rust and oxidation. An attempt was made to restore it using contact cleaner, but it couldn’t be saved. Therefore, it has been professionally replaced with a brand new CTS volume pot to ensure flawless performance. Aside from this, the guitar remains 100% original with no other modifications.

When you strum your first chord, the resonance and sustain of this instrument are immediately apparent. Its dynamic and soulful character translates beautifully through an amplifier.

The Jaguar’s famous “strangle” switch (located on the hexagonal plate next to the pickup on/off switches) delivers a bright, treble-rich snap. Meanwhile, the rhythm circuit—a separate setting for the neck pickup—offers a darker tone via a dedicated capacitor. This circuit delivers some of the best tones the Jaguar is known for, producing a warm, thick sound that still maintains clarity and depth.

The maple neck features a comfortable C-shaped profile, gaining noticeable roundness and shoulder as you move up the fretboard. The original frets are in like-new condition with plenty of life left.

Includes the original Fender black tolex hardshell case. All latches and the handle are in perfect working order.
