1965 Fender Jazzmaster – Sunburst
We present an all original 1965 Fender Jazzmaster in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
Condition
This stunning L-series Jazzmaster is in exceptionally clean condition. While it shows minimal cosmetic wear, it remains in excellent+ condition — very close to near-mint. The original Sunburst finish is vibrant and completely unfaded, making this guitar a true time capsule. It even includes its original tremolo arm. The pickguard and all plastic components are fully intact and remarkably clean, with no cracks or damage. The headstock decal is pristine, with all lettering fully legible. This lightweight alder body is paired with a flawless maple neck and a dark rosewood fingerboard featuring pearl dot inlays.
Originality
This 1965 Fender Jazzmaster is 100% original throughout, with no modifications, breaks, or repairs — just as it left the Fender factory in Fullerton in 1965. It features original double-line Kluson tuners in perfect working condition. The original grey-bottom pickups are strong, well-balanced, and deliver the signature Jazzmaster tone: powerful, resonant, and extremely versatile. A prime example of Fender craftsmanship from this golden era.
The pickups, electronics, and wiring are untouched and completely intact—no broken solder joints, no rewound pickups. All components are original and 100% correct.
Includes its original Fender hardshell case (non-logo version), with all latches and the handle in perfect working order.
