1965 Fender Stratocaster – Sunburst
We present an original 1965 Fender Stratocaster in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This 1965 Fender Stratocaster is 100% original throughout except for a professional refret and a new nut (the original frets and nut are included in the case). It has been played consistently since 1965, and both its look and sound reflect the character and resonance that only time can provide. The weight is ideal — light, yet perfectly balanced. The original grey-bottom pickups deliver an exceptionally well-balanced tone with rich soul and clarity.
Overall, this vintage 1965 Stratocaster is in excellent condition. It shows noticeable playwear on the back and sides, including areas where the finish has worn through, along with various nicks, dings, and cosmetic signs of use. These marks give the guitar an authentic vintage vibe and strong visual appeal. It features a stunning flamed C-shaped maple neck paired with a dark rosewood fingerboard and pearloid dot inlays. There’s a common, small crack near the pickguard screw — otherwise, no breaks, cracks, or repairs. A true mid-’60s Stratocaster that plays and sounds absolutely incredible.
The pickups and electronics are completely original and untouched—no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups, and no modifications. Everything is correct and vintage-accurate.
Includes the original Fender hardshell case with orange interior. All latches and the handle are fully functional.
