Description & Specifications

1965 Gibson ES-330 TDC – Cherry

We present an all original 1965 Gibson ES-330 TDC in Cherry finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Overall, this Gibson ES-330 TDC is in excellent and clean condition, with only minor cosmetic play wear. This ES-330 TDC is highly acoustically resonant — the fullness of its unplugged tone translates beautifully through the pickups, delivering a dynamic and nuanced sound, with the midrange warmth and depth that only a fully hollow body and a quality pair of P-90 pickups can provide.

The mahogany neck features a comfortable C-shaped profile that gains slight depth in the upper registers. It has a 1 9/16″ nut width and a dark rosewood fretboard with block inlays. The original Kluson Deluxe double-line tuners remain intact and function smoothly with their original white buttons. 1965 marks Gibson’s transition from nickel to chrome hardware, and this guitar reflects that mix. It features the original nickel ABR-1 Tune-o-Matic bridge, chrome trapeze tailpiece, and chrome pickup covers.

The pickups and electronics are completely original and untouched—no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All components are original and correct.

Includes the original chipboard case. The latches and handle are fully functional.
