1934 Gibson L-00 – Small Sunburst
We present an original 1934 Gibson L-00 in Small Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
There’s always been something remarkably special about the early 1934 sunburst L-00’s. These first L-00s are truly where it’s at for many of us small-body Gibson connoisseurs. Be it the more lightly built tops, the small-centered sunburst, the delightfully comfortable neck carve, or all of the above, once you get into playing a good one of these ’34s, you likely won’t go back.
This is a desirable first generation 14 fret L-00 with original small sunburst pattern. This is the 14th fret model that gives you more playability. Spruce top and mahogany back and sides. This Flat-top is in great shape for its age with some cosmetic play wear like nicks, dings and other cosmetic wear. Rosewood bridge with rounded back corners, typical of 1933-34. This L-00 features the original bent tab Grover strip tuners. Tuner buttons have been replaced to newer. Gorgoues neck profile with a lot of sustain and tone.
Comes with a newer hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
