1965 Gibson ES-330 TDC – Cherry
We present an all original 1965 Gibson ES-330 TDC in Cherry finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Overall, this Gibson ES-330 TDC is in excellent and clean condition with minor cosmetic play wear. This Gibson ES-330 TDC is so acoustically resonant, the fullness of the unplugged tone translates very well through the pickups, which deliver a very dynamic and nuanced tone, with the heft and midrange fullness that only comes with the combination of a fully hollow body and a good pair of P-90 pickup’s.
The mahogany neck has a C-shaped profile that gains a bit of depth as you move into the higher registers of the fretboard and has a full 1 9/16″ nut width. Dark rosewood fretboard with block inlays. The original Kluson Deluxe double-line tuners are intact, and these tuners turn smoothly with their original white buttons. 1965 is the year where Gibson goes from nickel to chrome hardware. This guitar has a mix since it’s a transition year. The bridge is the original nickel ABR-1 Tune-o-Matic with chrome trapeze tailpiece as well as the chrome pickup covers.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes complete with the original chipboard case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
