1966 Fender Stratocaster – Candy Apple Red
We present an exceptional and all-original early 1966 Fender Stratocaster in Candy Apple Red finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This beauty features all the ’65 specs! However, as the original grey bottom pickups are dated January 1966, this guitar left the Fullerton factory in early 1966 — making it an early ’66 Stratocaster. It even comes complete with its original bridge cover, tremolo arm, and Fender polishing cloth.
An absolutely stunning instrument with a true woody and vintage Fender tone. This Custom Color Stratocaster is a perfect addition to any high-end collection, whether you’re a player or a collector. There are only a few minor chips and dings, with no breaks or repairs to the guitar. The plastic backplate has a small crack in the corner. The original frets are in excellent condition and have been dressed for optimal playability. It features a comfortable medium-profile neck and a beautiful rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. The grey bottom pickups are well-balanced and sound absolutely incredible. Overall, a breathtaking vintage Strat that plays like a dream and rings out with clarity.
It’s 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1966.
Pickups and electronics/wiring are completely original and untouched, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickups. 100% original and correct.
Includes the original Fender hardshell case. All latches and the handle are in perfect working order.
