1966 Gibson LG-1 – Cherry Sunburst
We present an original 1966 Gibson LG-1 in its original Cherry Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Overall, this small body acoustic guitar is in excellent condition. Mahogany neck with beautiful rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. Spruce top with mahogany back and sides. The lacquer is in great shape with little finish checking, minor nicks, dings and other cosmetic wear. Wonderful peghead with black overlay w/ Gibson logo decal. The original 3-on-a-plate Kluson Deluxe tuners with original cream buttons are intact and turns perfectly. Original nut and original large frets with very little signs of playing. Soundhole shows a simple black cream soundhole Rosette. The back sides and neck are wonderful Mahogany w/ a very ropey figure. The body has cream binding around the top and back edges. Even comes complete with its original hang tag.
Comes complete with a newer hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.

- New saddle.
- Original pickguard has been reglued.
- Original plastic bridge from the period has been replaced professionally with an Ebony bridge.
- Strap button is installed on the neck heel.
