1967 Fender Coronado II – Cherry
We present an all original 1967 Fender Coronado II in its original Cherry finish with the iconic black headstock. Made in Fullerton, California.
Condition
Overall, this vintage Coronado II is in excellent condition with only minor dings. An exceptionally clean example that looks almost like new! It features a fully bound maple hollow body with bound f-holes. The straight maple neck is in excellent shape and boasts a beautifully bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays. The original Cherry finish remains vibrant and has retained much of its color over the years. It also showcases the characteristic black-finished headstock with a clean, original decal.
A small piece of the nut has chipped off behind the high E-string, but the nut remains fully functional, which is why we chose not to replace it.
Originality
This outstanding 1967 Coronado II is 100% original throughout with no modifications, breaks, or repairs — just as it left the Fender factory in Fullerton.
The two original DeArmond single-coil pickups are well-balanced and sound fantastic. All six original Fender tuners turn smoothly. The original pickguard and control knobs are intact and in great condition.
The pickups, electronics, and wiring are completely untouched, with no broken solder joints or re-wound pickups. Everything is factory-original and correct.
Includes the original Victoria black hardshell case with yellow interior. While the case shows heavy wear, it remains fully functional.
