1967 Fender Coronado II – Cherry
We present an all original 1967 Fender Coronado II in its original Cherry finish with black headstock. Made in Fullerton, California.
Condition
Overall this vintage Coronado II is in excellent condition with minor dings. Such a clean example that basically looks like new! Featuring a bound maple hollow-body with bound f-holes. The maple neck is straight and clean with a beautiful bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays. The original Cherry finish is strong and haven’t faded much over the years. It features the characteristic black finished headstock with a clean decal. A tiny small piece of the nut has chipped off behind e-string, but the nut is still fully functional which is why we decided not to change the nut.
Originality
This fantastic Coronado II from ’67 is 100% all original with no modifications, breaks or any repairs. Just like it left the Fullerton factory back in the days. The 2x original DeArmond single coil pickups are well-balanced and sounds lovely. The 6x original Fender tuners turns smoothly. The original pickguard and knobs are all intact and clean.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remains untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with the original Victoria black hardshell case with yellow interior. The case is in rough condition but is in working order.
