1967 Fender Telecaster – Blond
We present an all original 1967 Fender Telecaster in its original Blond finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
In late 1967 and early 1968, Fender transitioned from nitrocellulose lacquer to urethane finishes (commonly known as “Poly”). This particular Telecaster retains the classic nitro finish, giving it that sought-after vintage feel and tone. It also features the gold transition logo and a stunning maple cap neck with well-preserved frets. The guitar is exceptionally lightweight.
It’s 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1967. Including its original Fender strap and bridge cover (“ashtray”). The guitar is in excellent condition with only minor nicks and dings, light buckle wear, subtle finish checking, and minimal cosmetic wear — all typical of a well-preserved vintage instrument. Structurally, it’s sound with no cracks, breaks, or repairs.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Includes the original Fender hardshell case (with only one replaced screw in one corner of the case).
