Description & Specifications

1968 Gibson ES-125 TDC – Sunburst

We present an all original 1968 Gibson ES-125 TDC in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

A 1968 Gibson ES-125 TDC (“TDC” stands for thin body, double pickups, and cutaway). This Gibson is genius all the way around, featuring a bound top and back with cream binding. A great player equipped with amazing original P-90 pickups. Structurally sound with no cracks or breaks. Overall, this Gibson ES-125 is in very clean condition with only extremely minor wear.

The original frets are in excellent shape with plenty of life left. This guitar delivers warm, jazzy, blues-like clean tones through its legendary Gibson P-90 pickups. This particular example has outstanding action — low and easy to play all the way down the neck. A strap button has also been added to the neck heel.

It’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1968.

The pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickups. All components are original and correct.

Comes with a newer hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
