1968 Gibson ES-330 TD – Sunburst – Lyre Vibrola
We present an all original 1968 Gibson ES-330 TD in Sunburst finish with factory Lyre Vibrola. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This 1968 Gibson ES hollow body guitar is in super clean condition, and we have graded this beauty as near mint. A gorgeous Sunburst finish with the most beautiful flamed maple top.
This Gibson ES-330 TD is acoustically resonant — the fullness of the unplugged tone translates exceptionally well through the pickups. They deliver a dynamic and nuanced sound, with the heft and midrange richness that only a fully hollow body paired with quality P-90 pickups can produce.
The one-piece mahogany neck features a C-shaped profile that gains depth as you move into the higher registers of the fretboard and has a full 1 9/16″ nut width. The dark rosewood fretboard with block inlays is stunning. The original Kluson Deluxe double-line tuners are intact and turn smoothly with their original white buttons. The “Gibson” logo is inlaid in pearl on the headstock face. The bridge is the original chrome Gibson patent number Tune-o-Matic, as well as the stock pickguard, switch tip, pickup covers, and black hat knobs. The back of the headstock is factory-stamped “SECOND” — a designation sometimes used for minor cosmetic imperfections, with no impact on value.
It’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1968.
All pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no rewound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes complete with its chipboard case. The latches and handle are also intact.
