Description & Specifications

1969 Fender Mustang Competition – Orange

We present an all original 1969 Fender Mustang Competition in its original Orange finish with matching headstock. Made in Fullerton, California.

This is the earliest version of the Competition Mustang, featuring cloth wiring, double-line Kluson Deluxe tuners, and a neck dated February 1969. It boasts a straight neck with well-preserved frets. This vintage Mustang looks fantastic, showing only minor nicks, dings, and light cosmetic wear. Structurally, the guitar is solid with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. It even includes the original whammy bar, bridge cover, strap, and polishing cloth.

It’s 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1969.

The pickups and electronics are completely untouched and original—no broken solder joints, no rewound pickups. 100% original and correct.

Includes the original hardshell case. All latches and the handle function perfectly.
