1974 Fender Telecaster Deluxe – Black
We present an all original 1974 Fender Telecaster Deluxe in its original Black finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This vintage Fender Telecaster boasts just the right amount of authentic patina while remaining in very good+ condition, showing only honest playwear along with minor nicks and dings. This iconic model features the distinctive large Strat-style headstock equipped with the original Fender/Schaller tuners, which function smoothly and remain in excellent condition.
The contoured alder body provides a comfortable feel, true to the Telecaster Deluxe design. The 1-piece maple neck is clean, showing some light wear from play, and retains the original 21 frets, which still have plenty of life left.
What truly defines this 1974 Telecaster Deluxe is its signature tone and feel, thanks to a 25.5″ scale length, 12″ fretboard radius, and most notably, the pair of original Seth Lover-designed Fender Wide Range Humbuckers. Both pickups are powerful and well-balanced, delivering a wide tonal range. The guitar is equipped with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way pickup selector for versatile sound shaping.
The original hardtail bridge with six individual cast saddles allows for precise intonation. The 3-ply black pickguard is completely original and intact, perfectly complementing the sleek black finish for a classic aesthetic.
All electronics and pickups remain untouched, with no rewound pickups, no broken solder joints, and completely original wiring. A fully original and well-preserved example of a sought-after vintage Fender.
It’s 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1974.
It comes with its original Fender hardshell case, with fully functional latches and handle.
