1943 Gibson L-00 – Sunburst – Maple Rims
We present an original 1943 Gibson L-00 in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This stunning vintage flat-top guitar delivers exceptional sound. The tone is remarkably balanced and punchy, with impressive volume and projection. A truly captivating instrument, rich in woody character and steeped in history. It features an X-braced Adirondack spruce top with bound soundhole, a beautiful mahogany back, and highly figured maple rim sides. The comfortable mahogany “C” neck is paired with a rosewood fingerboard adorned with classic dot inlays.
Additional vintage details include a double-bound body with ivoroid binding, firestripe pickguard, and the iconic Gibson script logo. The finish shows playwear consistent with age — paint chips and dings that speak to its long musical life. This vintage Gibson from Kalamazoo is in excellent playing condition and fully ready for stage or studio.
Includes a rare original Martin hardshell case (handle replaced).

- New rosewood bridge, New bone saddle, new ebony nut, new end pin and bridge pins.
- Neck reset.
- Touch up around neck heel after neck reset.
