1950 Fender Deluxe Amp Tweed 5B3 – TV Front Panel
We present an original 1950 Fender Tweed Deluxe Amp, model 5B3 TV Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
This early and rare Deluxe model has tons of vintage character and looks fantastic. The original old-style tweed covering shows some wear on the front and light corner wear but remains in great condition overall. There’s a small hole in the grille cloth, though nothing significant. The faceplate is clean and well-preserved. The original Alnico Jensen P12R 1×12 speaker is in excellent condition and sounds absolutely fantastic. The original leather handle is also still intact.
This amp delivers the classic and unmistakable Fender Tweed breakup that guitarists know and love. The circuit is clean, and the original transformers are intact. A new three-prong power cord has been installed for safety, along with minor servicing including four screws, a few tubes, capacitors, and resistors — all replaced carefully to ensure optimal performance. (The original caps are included.)
The original tube chart is present, clean, and crisp, with a hand-inked serial number. The amp has been fully serviced and is ready to play.
To keep it as original as possible you need a stepdown transformer. We have these in stock and can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
