1953 Gibson ES-175 D – Sunburst
We present an all original 1953 Gibson ES-175 D in Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This Gibson Arch Top Hollow Body with Florentine cutaway is a fantastic player that featuring a chunkier ’50s neck profile. The original Sunburst finished is stunning with beautiful finish checking. It features 1-piece mahogany neck with single-bound with split parallelogram fingerboard inlays on dark rosewood fingerboard. The headstock carries the pearl Gibson logo and crown inlay.
The original hardware includes double P-90 pickups under black plastic “dogear” covers, the standard Gibson rosewood bridge, a 5-ply beveled-edge pickguard. The original Kluson tuners are in perfect working order to.
Overall, this guitar is in excellent condition and 100% complete with no breaks or any repairs. The body and neck shows normal cosmetic wear as finish checking, nicks and dings but appearing well cared for over the years.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes complete with its original Hardshell Case. Latches are in perfect working order. Newer leather handle.
