1953 Martin 000-18 – Natural
We present an original 1953 C.F. Martin 000-18, made in Nazareth, Pennsylvania.
This beautiful 1953 Martin 000-18 shows signs of wear from years of use but remains in excellent playing condition and overall great shape. There is some typical finish wear, more noticeable on the sides and edges than on the top. It has one common crack repair near the pickguard. Other than that, this vintage flat-top acoustic guitar and its original finish are relatively clean.
The 1953 Martin 000-18 features a solid mahogany back and sides paired with a gorgeous solid spruce top. The aesthetic is understated, with tortoise celluloid binding along the body edges and a simple multi-ply soundhole rosette. The one-piece mahogany neck has a comfortable “C” profile, topped with a dark rosewood fingerboard adorned with mixed-size dot inlays. The original open-back Kluson tuners with large metal buttons are intact, turn smoothly, and function flawlessly. A stunning vintage Martin flat-top guitar with exceptional tone and character.
Comes with a new Martin hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
