1954 Gibson Les Paul Standard – Goldtop
We present an all original 1954 Gibson Les Paul Standard – Goldtop. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Overall, this vintage Gibson Les Paul is in near mint condition, with extremely minor nicks, dings, and scratches on the headstock, as well as a small armrest spot on the body. That’s why we can’t grade it as full mint condition. The Goldtop finish is incredible, with no visible checking. This indicates it has been exceptionally well preserved over the decades. Finding a 1954 Les Paul in this condition is nearly impossible.
The 1954 Gibson Les Paul features a one-piece mahogany neck and a one-piece mahogany body with a carved maple top. It has a superbly playing neck and excellent frets that look nearly new, with plenty of life left. The dark rosewood fingerboard is stunning, with pearloid crown inlays. The aluminum lightweight tailpiece is in like-new condition and remains very shiny. This is a truly clean and collectible piece of guitar history that also delivers outstanding tone.
It’s 100% original throughout – Just as it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1954.
Pickups, electronics, and wiring are untouched and completely intact, with no broken solder joints and no rewound pickups. All components are original and correct.
Comes with its original Gibson hardshell case with pink interior. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
