1955 Fender Deluxe Amp Tweed 5D3 – Wide Panel
We present an original 1955 Fender Deluxe Amp Tweed 5D3 – Wide Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
This Fender Tweed shows some typical wear but is overall well-preserved. The chrome control panel and graphics are in excellent condition. It even comes with its original cover.
The Fender Deluxe amp retains its original Jensen P12R speaker, which is in perfect working order. All transformers are original as well. It has undergone a full servicing, including replacement of capacitors and resistors, installation of a modern 3-prong grounded power cord, and removal of the death cap. The amp has been biased to spec. All jacks, pots, and sockets have been cleaned. Overall, this beautiful amplifier is in excellent and original condition.
This Fender Deluxe amplifier sounds fantastic, delivering a full, grinding overdrive palette at higher volumes and a nice, snarly twang at lower levels. It’s a great gigging or recording amp—and simply a joy to play through.
The original tube chart is present and very clean, with crisp corners and a hand-inked serial number.
To keep it as original as possible, a step-down transformer is required. We have these in stock and they can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
