1955 Fender Deluxe Amp Tweed 5E3 – Narrow Panel
We present an original 1955 Fender Deluxe Amp Tweed 5E3 – Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
This Fender Deluxe is in great shape for its age. The Fender 5E3 Deluxe has been a favorite among guitar players for decades. Up to about “3” on the volume knob, it produces some of the loveliest clean tones imaginable. Once you start moving it toward and past noon, the famous crunchy tweed overdrive kicks in and brings you straight to rock ’n’ roll heaven.
This vintage Fender Deluxe features the original tweed covering, which is still intact and in very good condition. It has nicely ambered over the years. The faceplate on the chassis remains very clean with minimal pitting. Nearly all of the original white lettering is clearly intact and visible.
The original Jensen Alnico speaker P12R sounds fantastic. Overall, this 5E3 Tweed Deluxe is in great condition and has been professionally serviced with a new power switch, filter caps, and resistors, ensuring perfect operation. It also has a newer leather handle and power cable. The power transformer is factory original. The output transformer is as old as the amp itself and definitely era-correct. The original tube chart is present as well and very clean, with crisp corners and a hand-inked serial number.
To keep it as original as possible, you’ll need a step-down transformer. We have these in stock and they can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
