1956 Fender Electric Mandolin – Blond
We present an all original 1956 Fender Electric Mandolin (also known as the Mandocaster) in its original Blond finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
Condition
This fantastic ’56 Mandolin is in excellent+ condition overall, showing only minor nicks, dings, and light cosmetic wear. The original custom-color Blond finish remains vibrant, showcasing a beautifully grained ash body. The maple neck is exceptionally clean with minimal signs of play. Both the original frets and nut exhibit plenty of life. The gold anodized pickguard shows minor wear beneath the strings but is in great overall condition.
Originality
This remarkable 1956 Fender Electric Mandolin, crafted during Fender’s golden era, is 100% original throughout and untouched — exactly as it left the Fullerton factory in 1956. It even includes the original bridge cover, Fender tweed hardshell case, and key. The four original one-line Kluson tuners are fully functional and still fitted with their original plastic tuner tips.
The pickup and electronic components remain completely intact and unaltered—no broken solder joints, no rewound pickup. Everything is original and correct.
Includes its original hardshell tweed case, with all latches and the handle in perfect working condition.
