1956 Fender Electric Mandolin – Blond

We present an all original 1956 Fender Electric Mandolin (Mandocaster) in its original Blond finish. Made in Fullerton, California.

Condition

Overall this fantastic ’56 Mandolin is in excellent+ condition with minor nicks, dings and other cosmetic wear. The original custom color Blond finish is still strong with a beautiful ash body underneath. The maple neck is clean with barely any play-wear. The original frets and nut still have a lot of life left in them. The gold anodized pickguard have a bit of wear beneath the strings but is in overall great condition.

Originality

This stunning ’56 Fender Electric Mandolin from Fender’s golden period is 100% all original and completely untouched, just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1956. It even comes with the original bridge cover, Fender tweed case and key. The 4x original one-line Kluson tuners are in great shape and even features the original plastic tuner tips.

The pickup and the electronics/wiring remains untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.

Comes complete with its original hardshell tweed case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
