1958 Fender Deluxe Amp Tweed 5E3 – Narrow Panel

We present an original 1958 Fender Deluxe amplifier tweed 5E3 Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California

This Fender amplifier is in good shape for its age with its original tweed covering. The Fender Deluxe 5E3 has been a favorite of guitar players for decades. Up to about “3“ on the volume knob it produces some of the loveliest clean tones imaginable.  Once you start moving it towards and past noon the famous crunchy tweed overdrive kicks in and brings you to rock ‘n’ roll heaven. The faceplate on the chassis is still very clean with very little pitting and some stickers from the original owner.

The amp’s wonderful tone comes through clearly in the original Jensen P12R alnico speaker that has been reconed. The circuit is serviced with new three – prong power cord, new capacitors and some resistors so it can run perfect. New leather handle. The power and output transformers are original as well. To keep it as original as possible you need a stepdown transformer. We have these in stock and can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.

The original tube chart present the model name; Deluxe Amplifier, but it does not say 5E3, but 5F6 that leads to a Bassman. Someone at the Fender Factory made the wrong model number, but definitely factory mistake and original.
