1958 Fender Precision bass – Sunburst
We present an all original and 100% complete 1958 Fender Precision bass in Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This 1958 Fender pre-CBS Precision is one of the most desirable basses from the golden years and it comes directly from a collector that got it from the original owner. These basses have been sought after since the earliest beginnings of electric instrument collecting. It features original gold anodized pickguard with a beautiful sunburst finish, split pickup, fully adjustable 4-saddle bridge.
The 1-piece tinted maple neck and headstock is clean as it can be with gorgeous finish checking. The original frets has plenty of life left. Overall, it’s in clean original shape with minor nicks, finish checking and other cosmetic play wear on the back and side. No breaks or any repairs and we’re pretty sure that this one is the best out there for sale..
Even comes complete with its original bridge cover, pickup cover, fender strap, coil cable, matching number hang tag and an original instruction manual from the early 60’s. It’s all there and the original owner kept everything.
Pickup and the electronics/wiring remains untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickup. All original and 100% correct.
Comes with its original Fender hardshell tweed case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
