1958 Fender Precision Bass – Sunburst
We present an all original and 100% complete 1958 Fender Precision bass in Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This Fender pre-CBS Precision is one of the most desirable basses from the golden years and it comes directly from the original owners son-in-law. These basses have been sought after since the earliest beginnings of electric instrument collecting. It features original gold anodized pickguard with a beautiful sunburst finish, split pickup, fully adjustable 4-saddle bridge. The 1-piece maple neck and headstock is clean as it can be with gorgeous finish checking. The original frets has plenty of life left. Overall, it’s in great / clean original shape with minor nicks, finish checking and other cosmetic play wear. Most play wear is belt buckle wear on the back. No breaks or any repairs!
Even comes complete with its original bridge, pickup cover, original flat-wound strings from the 50’s and its original polish cloth. Its all there!
Pickup and the electronics/wiring remains untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.
Comes with its original Fender hardshell tweed case. latches and handle are in perfect working order. The key for the case is also included.
