1958 Gibson Les Paul Junior TV Model
We present an all original 1958 Gibson Les Paul Junior TV Model. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Overall, this Gibson TV Model finish is in very clean condition, with few nicks, dings, and other cosmetic wear. The original frets are in great shape, with plenty of life left in them. A Gibson single-cut mahogany body with a one-piece mahogany neck is just a great combination.
Gorgeous rosewood fretboard with dot inlays. This guitar has a nice, big, chunky neck profile. The P-90 “dog ear” single-coil pickup sounds fantastic. Black single-layer pickguard, aluminum lightweight wrap-over tailpiece. The neck feel on this piece is out of this world — chunky, with an ever-so-slight taper, while the dark rosewood fingerboard is soft and comfortable.
This guitar almost plays itself. The single-cutaway Junior models from 1957–1958 benefit from an improved bridge position compared to earlier models, which suffer from leaning bridges due to placement and shallow bridge studs.
It’s 100% original throughout – Just as it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1958.
The pickup and the electronics wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.
Comes complete with its original chipboard case.
