We present an original 1959 Fender Champ amplifier Tweed 5F1 – Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
This great amp has seen a lot of use, but it runs perfectly. There is considerable cosmetic wear, but the cabinet is structurally sound and original. The original Oxford speaker has been reconed. A new power cord, leather handle, quality filter capacitors, and resistors have been installed to ensure reliable operation.
These amps are excellent little bedroom amplifiers and can sound huge when recorded, while maintaining low volume levels. When turned up, the overdrive on this amp is sweet and singing, with natural compression and excellent feel. Vintage tweed tone in a compact package!
A step-down transformer is included (so it can run on 230 volts) to keep it as original as possible.
