Description & Specifications

1960 Fender Champ Amp Tweed 5F1 – Narrow Panel

We present an original 1960 Fender Champ Tweed 5F1 – Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.

Condition

This fantastic ’60 Champ features its original lacquered tweed and the legendary 5F1 circuit. It doesn’t get much purer than the Champ, and this studio favourite delivers incredibly dynamic and glassy tube tones that goes from clean to fully saturated overdrive with a simple twist of the single volume knob. Cosmetically, the original lacquered tweed is in very clean condition. Overall, the tweed covering looks particularly good, complete with the original nailed-in feet. The chrome control panel looks great with all the lettering fully visible.

Originality

This 1960 Champ Amp has been well cared for over the years and was recently serviced to ensure perfect operation. It features the original 5F1 circuit and both transformers are original. Features the original Oxford 8″ speaker as well and it sounds fantastic. The original leather handle is also intact.

To keep it as original as possible, you’ll need a step-down transformer if you’re based in Europe. We have these in stock and they can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.

We are more than happy to provide further photos upon request. Simply contact us by email or phone for details, including internal components like the circuit, tubes, transformers and more.
