1960 Fender Jazzmaster – Sunburst
We present an original 1960 Fender Jazzmaster in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This pre-CBS Fender Jazzmaster is all original expect for new nut and newer frets. Otherwise, no breaks or any repairs. Overall, this Fender Jazzmaster is in very good condition and even comes complete with its original bridge cover, tremolo arm and matching number hang tag. Cosmetically, the 1960 Fender Jazzmaster shows “play-wear” on the back of the neck and nicks, dings on the front and sides. The original Sunburst finish is in great shape and has faded over time include the original pickguard.
The neck profile and headstock face are as clean as they can be with just a little tarnish / wear on the original decal which is quite common. A very nice C-shape maple neck that features dark rosewood fingerboard with clay dots. The original one-line Kluson tuners are in perfect working order and turn smoothly. The original black bottom pickups are balanced and strong and sounds incredibly good.
The sound is powerful, resonant and extremely versatile. This is everything you’d expect from a guitar produced in Fender’s golden age period.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes complete with its original Fender Brown hardshell case with Yellow interior. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
