1960 Fender Precision Bass – Sunburst
We present an all original 1960 Fender Precision Bass in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
The playability of this pre-CBS Fender Precision Bass is excellent. A rare lightweight example, it is extremely resonant and plays perfectly. It features the most incredible flamed neck — super rare to find. The original frets are like new, including the original nut.
A beautiful dark slab-board rosewood fingerboard with clay dots. Overall, this P-Bass is in near mint condition. It has been played but at the same time well preserved. Super clean, with only extremely minor scratches. The pickguard and headstock are as clean as can be. This 1960 Precision lives up to its “holy grail” bass status, with solid intonation and the feel you want in a bass. The pickup is healthy and sounds perfect.
it’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1960.
The pickup and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.
Comes with its original hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
