1960 Gibson J-45 – Sunburst
We present an original 1960 Gibson J-45 in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This well-played 1960 Gibson flat-top is a prime example from a golden era of J-45s, featuring the original round-shouldered design. The guitar shows signs of playwear on the top from enthusiastic strumming but remains remarkably original and in excellent overall condition.
The rim of the sound hole is intact, and there is visible pick wear above the fingerboard, just behind the sound hole. It has only one common crack near the celluloid pickguard due to shrinkage — otherwise, it is a crack-free 1960 Gibson J-45. The guitar is entirely original except for a newly installed bridge, bridge saddle, and frets.
The back of the neck is in great shape with some dings, dents, and typical checking. It features a mahogany back and sides, a spruce top, and a one-piece mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard and dot inlays.
Includes its original Gibson hardshell case with a newer handle.
