1960 Gibson Les Paul Junior DC – Cherry
We present an all original 1960 Gibson Les Paul Junior DC in Cherry finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Overall, this 1960 Gibson Les Paul Junior DC is in super clean condition with only minor nicks, dings, and other cosmetic wear. It’s an early 1960 model with the desirable 1959 neck profile. The original Cherry finish is incredibly clean and retains strong color. This vintage Les Paul Junior sounds amazing with its original P-90 “Soapbar” pickup, which is well-balanced and full of character. It features a lightweight mahogany body with no breaks or repairs.
The original frets are in excellent condition with plenty of life left. The original “2/3 Kluson on the stripe” tuners are still in place and function perfectly. It has a one-piece mahogany neck with a 1960 profile and a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Additional features include a wraparound aluminum tailpiece and two black reflector knobs.
It’s 100% original throughout – Just as it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1960.
The pickup and all electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact — no broken solder joints, no rewound pickup. Everything is original and correct.
Comes complete with its original alligator chipboard case. Handle is missing.
