1961 Fender jazzmaster – Sunburst
We present an all original 1961 Fender Jazzmaster in Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, california.
Condition
Cosmetically, this 1961 Pre-CBS Jazzmaster is in excellent shape and clean condition with minor nicks, dings and other cosmetic wear on the front and sides. The neck profile and headstock face are as clean as can be. Beautiful dark rosewood slab board with clay dots. The original frets have been dressed and there is still plenty of life left. Just a stunning Fender Jazzmaster that plays and sounds fantastic.
Originality
The guitar is all original. The original Black bottom pickups are well-balanced and strong. There’s added new foam under the pickups so it’s possible to adjust the height. The foam getting hard as stone and it’s not unusual for jazzmasters and jaguars to add or change foam to adjust the height. Even comes complete with its original bridge cover and tremolo arm.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and 100% correct.
Comes complete with its original Fender brown hardshell case w/yellow interior. Latches and handle in perfect working order.
