We present an original 1961 Fender Vibrolux amplifier tweed 5F11 – Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
This Fender tweed amplifier delivers the classic tweed tone with incredible dynamics, harmonic richness, and tonal clarity. The Fender Vibrolux stays clean with just the right amount of overdrive and very tight bass response for an amp with the original Jensen P10R” speaker. Even comes with its original footswitch.
The tremolo is bias based, meaning that it turns the tubes on and off at a rate and intensity set by the controls, and has a nice strong pulse to it, with its smooth waveform that has a good amount of intensity and chop on tap.
The chassis is clean and also the chrome control plate. Original white lettering is intact, along with the stock chicken head knobs. The stock metal handle ends are intact along with its original handle. There is installed a new prong power cord. The original alnico Jensen P10R speaker is reconed. Some new capacitor and resistor so it sounds and run perfect. Both tranformers is factory stock. The original lacquered tweed and handle is intact, showing light ambering and some minor scuffs and other cosmetic wear. The original oxblood grillcloth is tight.
The original tube chart is present as well and very clean with crisp corners and hand inked serial number.
