Description & Specifications

1962 Fender Jaguar – Sunburst

We present an all original 1962 pre-CBS Fender Jaguar in Sunburst finish, made in Fullerton, California.

This exceptionally clean Jaguar features all the early appointments of the model, including black-bottom pickups, a tortoiseshell pickguard, and clay dots on the veneer rosewood fingerboard. It even comes complete with its original tremolo arm and matching-number hang tags. This Jaguar is graded near mint—looking as if it just left the Fullerton factory.

The instrument resonates powerfully from the first chord, and its dynamic, soulful character carries beautifully through the amp. The Jaguar offers tonal flexibility, capable of thickening the sound or, conversely, making it more sinewy and bright.

The maple neck has a C-shaped profile—slim at the nut, gaining noticeable shoulder and roundness as you move up the fretboard, offering a comfortable and substantial feel.

It’s 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory.

Pickups, electronics, and wiring are untouched and fully intact, with no broken solder joints or rewound pickups. All components are original and correct.

Includes its original Fender brown hardshell case. Latches and handle are fully functional.
