1963 Fender Champ Tweed 5F1 – Narrow Panel
We present an original 1963 Fender Champ Tweed 5F1 – Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
This vintage Fender Champ features its original lacquered tweed covering and the legendary 5F1 circuit. It doesn’t get much purer than the Champ. This studio favorite delivers an exceptionally dynamic and glassy tube tone that transitions from clean to fully saturated overdrive with just a twist of its single knob.
The 1963 Fender Champ has been well cared for over the decades and still retains its original 8″ speaker, which sounds fantastic. The circuit remains highly original and has been professionally serviced with newer tubes, selected capacitors, resistors, and a new 3-prong power cord for safe and reliable operation. Both transformers are original.
Cosmetically, the original lacquered tweed is in excellent condition. Overall, the tweed is particularly well-preserved, complete with its original nailed-in rubber feet.
To keep it as original as possible you need a stepdown transformer. We have these in stock and can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
