1963 Fender Champ Amp Tweed 5F1 – Narrow Panel

We present an original 1963 Fender Champ tweed 5F1- Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.

This vintage Fender Champ features its original lacquered tweed and hallowed 5F1 circuit. It doesn’t get much more pure than the Champ, and this studio favorite delivers freakishly dynamic and glassy pure tube tone that can go from clean to fully saturated overdrive with a twist of the single knob.

The 1960 Fender Champ has been well cared for over the decades and is stocked with the original  8″ speaker that sounds great. The circuit itself is very original and has been serviced with newer tubes, some capacitors, resistors and new 3-prong cord so it can run perfectly. Both transformers are original as well.

Cosmetically, the original lacquered tweed is in excellent shape. Overall, the tweed looks particularly great with original nailed in feet.

To keep it as original as possible you need a stepdown transformer. We have these in stock and can be purchased through Guitar Hunter. https://guitarhunter.dk/product/toroidy-ats300va-stepdown-converter-230-110v/
