1963 Fender Jazzmaster – Fiesta Red
We present an original 1963 Fender Jazzmaster in its original Fiesta Red finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This original 1963 Fender Jazzmaster in Fiesta Red finish comes with great provenance. It was purchased back in 1963 in a music store. To afford this brand new Fender Jazzmaster the original owner needed to trade his Gibson Les Paul Junior and his mom paid the rest. What a great mom to have back then.
Cosmetically, this pre-CBS Fender Jazzmaster is in great condition. It’s all original and 100% complete except for brand new frets and the rhythm/ lead switch has been changed. It show belt buckle wear on the back, few nicks, dings and other cosmetic wear. Also the neck profile and back of the headstock are as clean as can be. Just an exceptional one-owner example of a pre-CBS Jazzmaster in Custom Color; Fiesta Red finish. The original black bottom pickups are very balanced/strong and sound incredibly good.
Beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with clay dots. The original nut is still in perfect shape. Acoustically, the guitar has a very authoritative sound that translates well through the two original black bobbin pickups.
Besides from changed rhythm / lead switch the pickups and all original electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Even comes complete with its original Hardshell Case, bridge cover, tremolo arm, matching number hang tag and the original cable. Just a stunning package.
