1963 Fender Stratocaster – Sunburst
We present an all original 1963 Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This pre-CBS Stratocaster is definitely from the golden era from Fullerton, California. This guitar was purchased 13 years ago from the original owner that was located in Henderson, Kentucky. His name was Jim Snow and he loved and played this guitar for many years. You can see honest play wear spot all over the body and especially were he had his arm rest. Absolutely a wonderful Stratocaster with a lot resonance and tone. The original frets and nut still have life left.
Original 1-line Kluson tuners are in great shape and works perfect. Jim (the original owner) put mail letters on the guitar. They are removed again, but the marks after it is still there. They can be removed but we think it’s history and we will keep it as is and let the new owner decide to remove it or not. The original pickguard has two most common pickguard cracks. Beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with clay dots. The black bottom pickups are healthy and strong, but at same time very balanced. The guitar it’s 100% original and even comes complete with its original tremolo arm and bridge cover. Absolutely a stunning instrument with real vintage Fender tone. This beauty will complement any high end collection, but it definitely deserves to be played.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes complete with its original Fender White tolex Hardshell Case. One latch are broken but the case is still in working order.
