1964 Fender Jaguar – Candy Apple Red
We present an all original 1964 Fender Jaguar in a Candy Apple Red finish with matching headstock. Made in Fullerton, California.
This custom color is absolutely stunning to play. It features a beautiful veneer rosewood fingerboard with original frets and nut in good condition. There is remarkable resonance when you strike your first chord—its dynamic, soulful quality translates beautifully into the amplified signal. The Jaguar offers a range of tonal options, from thickening the sound to making it even more sinewy and bright.
The “strangle” toggle (located on the hexagonal plate next to the individual pickup on/off switches) delivers a treble-heavy snap, while the rhythm circuit is a separate path for the neck pickup, engaging a darker tone cap.
The rhythm circuit produces one of the finest tones this guitar has to offer — a thick, woolly character with plenty of clarity, adding warmth to your clean sound. The maple neck features a C-shaped profile, slender at the nut, gaining notable shoulder and roundness as you move up the fretboard, providing a satisfying amount of chunk.
This Jaguar boasts beautiful nitrocellulose lacquer with nicks, dings, and other honest cosmetic wear.
It’s 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1964.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain completely original and untouched, with no broken solder joints or re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original Fender non-logo hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
