1964 Fender Jaguar – Sunburst
We present an all original 1964 Fender Jaguar in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
Condition
Overall, this fantastic pre-CBS Jaguar is in excellent condition – not much to say, just really clean. It shows minimal wear, with only a few small nicks and dings. The original Sunburst finish remains strong and has barely faded over the years. Featuring an alder body with a clean and straight maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, and clay dots. The headstock and decal are as clean as they come. The original frets and nut still have plenty of life left in them. The six original single-line Kluson tuners work perfectly. The original tortoiseshell pickguard is fully intact. The single-coil pickups sound great and are well-balanced.
Originality
This ’64 Jaguar is 100% original throughout with no modifications, breaks, or repairs — just as it left the Fullerton factory back in ’64. It even comes complete with its original tremolo arm and bridge cover, strap, polish cloth, and matching-number hang tag. It’s all there!
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
It comes with the original white Fender hardshell case. The handle and all the latches are in perfect working order.
